Celso Piña is a singer, songwriter, arranger and Mexican professional accordionist of the genre of cumbia. Celso is a pioneer in the fusion or fusion of tropical sounds as a base, combining them with all sorts of popular genres from the norteños to sonidero, ska, reggae, rap, hip-hop, R & B, etc. For this reason what is considered one of the best musicians in Mexico, Latin America and the United States, is also known with the nickname of El Rebelde of the accordion or also as the Cacique de la Campana.

He began playing regional music for a long time accompanied by his brothers Eduardo, Rubén and Enrique, together they gave serenades in the neighborhood to all the girls of the block. But it was in the year 1980 when Celso bought his first accordion to enter the world of vallenata music, with long hours of rehearsal and effort, in the popular colony Independencia, south of the city of Monterrey, Mexico. For this area where lived a long time has a cumbia called Mi colonia Independencia, which is located in the populous area of ​​Cerro de la Campana in Monterrey.
